Responsibilities :

  • Prospecting potential clients and leading in-person and virtual sales engagements
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline, healthy close rate and engage prospects through multiple channels and our CRM
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop creative enterprise-level solutions leveraging Taylor’s entire portfolio of services
  • Attend industry and networking events in the Cincinnati / Northern KY market
  • Help develop implementation plans and support Account Management team with new customer acquisition
  • Support creation of annual S&OP budget
  • Understand and execute pricing strategies for all services and lead RFP / RFI responses

Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum five years sales experience
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Ability to travel as needed (estimated 20-30%)
  • Experience selling to executive level decision makers
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Can-do attitude and team mindset

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Advanced knowledge of transportation and supply chain terminology and concepts
  • Growth mindset and results-oriented approach
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills
  • Expert-level proficiency of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Working knowledge of customer technologies including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
