Job Description Summary

Colibrium Additive, a GE Aerospace company is seeking an intern who is looking for the opportunity to grow in their technical and professional career in the additive manufacturing industry.

The role focuses on the execution of engineering tasks associated with the development of our next generation of Additive manufacturing products.

The Summer Intern will work directly with team members who are developing both direct metal laser melting (DMLM) and Binder Jet machines, applications, materials, and processes.

Ultimately, you'll be placed taking your preferences into account while also considering your major, year of schooling and business needs at the time of placement.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Work in a hands-on environment to support machine, customer application, material and process development activities.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with team members to execute engineering activities aligned with business priorities.
  • Perform data acquisition, analysis and prepare results of technical evaluations of application, material, process or machine performance.
  • Ensure documentation is consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
  • Provide and present reports of findings to the team and leadership.

Qualifications :

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's of Master's Degree program at an accredited university. Degrees focused on Mechanical, Electrical, Material Sciences, Computer Sciences or other relevant STEM majors.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA off a 4.0 scale without rounding.

Eligibility Requirements :

Benefits :

Pay rates for this position begin at $20 / hour and increase for each undergraduate year completed. Relocation support and housing assistance is available for those who relocate to a new city.
