Electrophysiology Tech / EP Tech

Schedule : M-F 10 hour shifts, no weekend, no call required.
Requirements :
- Completing a cardiovascular technology program
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) preferred.
- ARRT Certification required
- Cardiac Rhythm interpretation and arrhythmia identification proficiency
- Current BLS from the AHA or ARC
What You Will Do :
- Primarily responsible for monitoring and assessment of hemo-dynamic data.
- Utilization of computers for clinical interpretation of data and assist with the delivery of patient care given during all Cardiac Invasive Procedures.
- EP technologists assist an EP Cardiologist (Electrophysiologist) during diagnostic and invasive procedures including programmed electrical stimulation, sterile scrub technique, electro-anatomical 3D mapping, catheter ablation for cardiac arrhythmias, and device implantation for cardiac rhythm management such as pacemakers and other advanced implantable devices.
- Operation of computers to derive complex data for determination of patient cardiac status. May be cross-trained or assigned other duties as indicated.
