PRIMARY DEPARTMENT : Reference / Passport Program
ANTICIPATED START DATE : April 1, 2024
STARTING SALARY : $16.00 - $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
EDUCATION : BA required. Library experience a plus.
HOURS : 18 hrs. / week. Mon : 8 : 30 am-2 : 30 pm; Wed : 3-9 pm; Alternate Saturdays : 9 am-3 pm
JOB SUMMARY
The Ridgewood Public Library seeks a dynamic individual to provide outstanding reference help and customer service at the Reference Desk and work with the team to plan and manage the library’s new passport program.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent customer service. Helpful, courteous and energetic.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Technology skills.

- Provides reference help and customer service on the Reference Desk.
- Manages appointments and processing for passport program.
