Job Description
Functioning under moderate supervision, the Assistant Manager (AM) will work with the nurse manager in providing leadership to the department.
The actions and attitudes of the AM promote and support the mission and vision of the organization and, the nursing service division at CRMC.
The AM demonstrates competence with the nursing process to provide patient care and patient / family teaching. The practitioner organizes and implements safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient care in controlled settings with predictable outcomes.
Patients served may include pediatric through adult-geriatric.
Qualifications
the candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing; currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland;
Three to five years of experience in the Acute Care delivery setting. Must meet all unit-specific certification requirements : (BLS, PALS, ACLS), and Professional Certification in nursing specialty preferred.
Must maintain a minimum of 0.9 FTE
