About project
Our client is an American company providing programmable communication tools for making and receiving phone calls, sending and receiving text messages, and performing other communication functions using its web service APIs.
Responsibilities
- Work with client teams on re-architecting existing services to make them work with AWS Aurora instead of MySQL on-prem database
- Ship reliable features, at scale, that deliver the most value
- Work on improvements to current processes and procedures
Requirements
- Proficiency in AWS :
- strong experience in supporting AWS infrastructure
- solid experience with Aurora tooling in AWS
- Expertise in scripting (Python, Shell preferred)
- Excellent communications skills
- Focus on best engineering practices for quality, clean code, testing & observability
- Strong experience in building scalable distributed systems
Nice to have
- Experience in Terraform
- Familiarity with Linux
- Hands-on experience with Docker
