The Human Resources Director & Administrative Assistant will be responsible for overseeing and managing all human resources functions in addition to various administrative tasks that provide support that complements other Administrative Personnel.
This role requires a versatile individual who can efficiently lead HR initiatives and handle administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of HR practices and legal requirements, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment that reflects the culture of the organization.
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Conduct annual Benefits review, research and present options, and provide executive summaries of proposed changes to benefits for the firm’s partners to make final decisions.
Manage recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring. Place and manage ads for open positions, respond to candidates, file resumes, arrange interviews, follow up with offers / rejections
Oversee employee records, benefits administration, and payroll processing, including :
Administer Employee benefits assistance introduction of benefits, implementing changes, coordinating with the company’s benefits vendor
Administering time off requests
Address employee relations issues and provide guidance on performance management.
Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Manage employee performance appraisal processes and provide feedback to employees, including scheduling annual employee reviews
Staff & Studio assistance in completing timesheets & expense reports; assurance that timesheets are complete and approved for all studio staff.
Maintain and update office policies and procedures, including updates to the Employee Manual.
Assist with bank deposits
Track and maintain professional and firm licenses, memberships, and accreditations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources or management
7+ years' of professional HR experience, ideally from a services oriented business, with a combination of corporate and business unit line experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
