Scope of the Role
The WMS Fulfillment Analyst works closely with fulfillment teams and technical leadership team to help facilitate and troubleshoot fulfillment challenges and / or issues that arise.
Has experience with marketplace analytics. Understands fulfillment operations and possesses an analytical mindset to arrive at solutions to challenging issues.
Reporting Structure
The WMS Fulfillment Analyst is a member of the Operations Admin Team and reports to the Warehouse Application Lead. This position also partners with cross-functional leaders and its members.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
Order Management :
- Verify, manage, and process sales order data.
- Address out-of-stock situations and allocation errors.
- Audit and reconcile marketplaces.
- Ensure on-time completion of orders based on Ship by Date.
WMS Troubleshooting :
- Utilize critical thinking skills to bridge physical operations with system data.
- Provide feedback to operations regarding WMS process outcomes.
- Identify and call out system bugs.
- Issue escalation decision making on issues and time of day, make sure we keep all the marketplace KPI's
Inventory Management :
- Conduct weekly inventory audits to detect disparities between ERP and WMS.
- Analyze inventory transactions to pinpoint and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate reports for leadership review.
- Rectify inventory variances from containers.
- Review and clear SKUs in the Inventory Control Locations
Support
- Assist other departments with ad hoc requests.
- Provide weekend coverage to resolve order allocation errors, out-of-stock orders, and troubleshooting.
- Create and implement automation tied to daily tasks like manual reporting.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Required Experience
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Proficient working with Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Detail oriented with a high level of analytical ability to problem solve and find solutions
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of fulfillment operations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated and a strong sense of accountability
- Ecommerce or distribution experience preferred
- WMS and NetSuite experience preferred
