The Roofing Superintendent will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring that roofing projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : -On-Site Supervision : Oversee all aspects of roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.

Visiting multiple projects per day.-Team Leadership : Manage and direct roofing crews, ensuring proper training, task delegation, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency on the job site.

• Project Scheduling : Coordinate daily activities, ensuring that project milestones and deadlines are met while managing labor and material resources.
• Quality Control : Monitor the progress of roofing projects, conducting regular inspections to ensure work is completed to the highest standards and in line with Great Lakes Roofing Inc.

• Problem Solving : Quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise during the roofing process, ensuring projects remain on track and within budget.

• Material Management : Oversee the delivery, use, and inventory of roofing materials, ensuring proper handling and storage on job sites.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate daily reports, including labor hours, material usage, job site conditions, and progress updates.

The ideal candidate should possess : -Experience : Minimum of 5+ years of roofing and exterior remodeling experience, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role such as a foreman or superintendent.

And a solid understanding of residential construction.-Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, including shingle, metal, flat roofing, and related materials and techniques.

• Leadership Skills : Proven ability to manage and lead crews on multiple job sites, ensuring high-quality work and timely completion.
• Communication Skills : Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Problem-Solving Abilities : Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges quickly and efficiently.
• Safety-Oriented : A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring that all crew members follow proper safety procedures.
• Licenses & Certifications : A valid driver's license is required. OSHA certifications and additional industry certifications are preferred.
• Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple projects at once, stay organized, and maintain detailed records of project progress.
