Piper Health & Sciences is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join an architecture & engineering consulting team in the Towson, MD area.
This role completes mechanical designs for new and existing facilities.
Responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineer include :
- Develop and revise mechanical design drawings and specifications for various types of industries, including education, government, healthcare, and / or mission-critical facilities.
- Perform accurate design calculations in regards to mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Perform cost estimations / calculations associated with design plans.
Qualifications for the Mechanical Engineer include :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or similar vertical is required.
- 3-5+ years of experience working in the mechanical engineering, construction engineering, and / or architectural engineering industry.
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office is strongly preferred.
Compensation for the Mechanical Engineer includes :
- Salary Range : approximately $90,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience
