65 Job Summary / Basic Function
The student in this level position will be considered the lead student over other facility student assistants and will train and work with other facilities student assistants to help with building maintenance, coordinate needed materials and equipment for specific assigned building projects and be responsible for completion of tasks.

Job Duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble and move furniture, shelving, or equipment.
- Erect or dismantle shelving and includes having a knowledgeable use of the stack mover to pick-up and move ranges of books.
- Prepare building for major events.
- Make internal and external pick-ups and deliveries.
- May be called upon to work with Admin office Facility coordinator on building maintenance tasks including planning and moving office personnel and furniture and rearranging meeting rooms, offices, and storage areas.
- May be called upon to work with Library Events Coordinator on planning, preparation, set up and tear down of events in Events area and includes multiple settings for dinners, speakers, etc.
- Tasks include arrangement of seating, furniture, tables, podiums, speakers, decorations, signage, etc.
- Required to keep daily record of tasks completed for annual report.
- Must be dependable and able to follow instructions accurately.
- Be able to work independently, determine equipment and materials needs, and set time frame for project completions.
