Responsibilities
will epass understanding controls required forpliance with applicable regulations, identification of relevant issues, solution design, design of required controls and monitoring, leveraging industry practices and coordination with colleagues across the role is expected to contribute constructively and balance challenges, supporting alignment of business objectives with CNB's risk appetite and established limits.
What you will do
- Assist with investment due diligence, selection, and monitoring of traditional managers for use in CNR's open architecture platform and proprietary sub-advised strategies.
- Participate in the process for identifying and researching alternative managers and strategies, including private funds and other partnership structures.
- Assist with maintenance of CNR Approved Manager Lists, update quarterly reports and manager tear sheets, and serve as primary contact point for specific external managers and strategies.
- Assist in maintaining all necessary documentation for regulatory requirements associated with Investment and Operational Due Diligence (aka IDD / ODD) for fund investments.
Including regular research call leads, due diligence questionnaire maintenance, policy and procedure assistance.
- Special project assignment duty at the request of Senior members of the Manager Research team, such as periodic publications, asset class research, and manager selection analysis.
- Support the regulatory requirements of maintaining research records such as fraud oversight, news alerts, manager lists (initial, approved, terminated, etc.).
- Investment related support such as performance attribution records, style analysis, and peer performance reviews. Operational diligence related support such as service provider records and change log amongst approved strategies.
- Represent the Wealth Management business first line of defense (1LOD) and provide assistance for 2LOD Review & Challenge to provide sufficient guidance during testing periods and on a day to day basis.
- Contribute to the development of a robust risk culture, risk conduct, and risk literacy within the 1LOD, including design and implementation of preventive and detective controls relating to Wealth Management Research activities (standing uppliance-related controls)
- Prioritize organizational risk management objectives.
- Participate in special projects as necessary.
- Assist with audit and examination preparation activities.
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of Investment Research experience in both Traditional and Alternative Investments
Skills and Knowledge
- CFA, CAIA, and / or MBA or progress is encouraged, but not required
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Python or similar programming experience or interest a plus
- Structuring and building quantitative and qualitative / conceptual analyses
- Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, FactSet experience a plus
- Project Management, SharePoint, Power BI, automation experience a plus
- Investment Management experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills - and ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in a peer-like way, and achieve goals without direct control over resources

Starting base salary : $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Exactpensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and / ormissions.
