Job Opportunity : Staff Educator (RN)

Schedule : 16 hour per week

We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in planning, controlling, and executing the implementation of new hire orientation and ongoing training programs.

Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the maintenance and continuity of a high standard of services throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement comprehensive new hire orientation and ongoing training programs for all personnel.
• Demonstrate cooperation and teamwork, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances the professional development of our staff.
• Exhibit patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

Training Coordination :

• Coordinate mandatory in-service requirements for all facility staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide education on an as-needed basis for all shifts and departments, addressing specific training needs.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate relevant advancements into training programs.

Required Qualifications

• Must hold a current state RN license and be a nurse in good standing.
• Must meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements.
• Ability to supervise and instruct others.
• Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative, and infection control requirements, OSHA laws and regulations, nursing and medical practices, and guidelines governing long term care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Attention to detail, good follow through skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Previous experience in a hospital or long term care facility.
