MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform general office functions, such as, greeting patients, filing, answering telephones, paperwork, typing
- Record patient admissions, discharges and transfer in compliance with DSA and CODAC guidelines; and establish and maintain computerized patient record and schedule patient appointments
- Verify patient insurance coverage as needed
- Responsible for verification and eligibility of insurance coverage
- Responsible for collection of patient fees
- Assume duties of the Office Manager in her / his absence
- Obtain and maintain proficiency in Motivational Interviewing
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities
- Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS :
High School diploma and at least two years of related work experiences.
