Title : Pharmacy Technician
Location : Detroit, MI 48243 (Hybrid)
Duration : 10+ Months
Shift : 8 to 5 PM EST
Engagement Description :
- This position requires the ability to multitask within a high-volume concierge contact center setting.
- The pharmacy technician will assist in providing pharmacy services. Other related skills may be required to perform this job.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of pharmacy experience working under a licensed pharmacist or completion of a certified pharmacy technical program.
- Working knowledge of third-party claims process.

- Ability to process Coverage Determination Requests within CMS Timeframes.
- Ability to communicate all pharmacy benefits both verbally and written.
- Ability to have strong attention to detail while multitasking within a high-demand environment.
Required Skills / Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Pharmacy Retail, PBM, Hospital, Managed Care
- Experience with Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)
- Knowledge of prescription drug names, therapeutic classes, and claims processing
- Knowledge of Privacy Regulations
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred
Preferred Skills / Experience
- Medicare Part D Experience
- Contact Center Experience
- Knowledge of CMS / NCQA regulations
- Knowledge of pharmacy claims processing
Education / Certifications
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of college preferred
