SLR International Corporation is seeking an Associate Wastewater Engineer to join our busy Cheshire, Connecticut operations.
Qualified candidates will have a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and possess 6 to 10 years of previous experience in the fields of Municipal water and wastewater infrastructure engineering, construction and permitting.

- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 6 to 10 years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment engineering and / or soil and groundwater remediation engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Experience working with regulatory agencies, clients and contractors
- Effective written / verbal communication and organization / analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Willing to travel within the US and Canada by airplane and car, including overnight travel
Preferred Technical Skills and Experience
- Experience with technical writing
- Experience and skill with AutoCAD and GIS
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification

- Prepare engineering designs for wastewater, water and pump systems
- Manage production of drawing sets and construction documents
- Perform field work to work and observe construction activities
Compensation Range :
The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $85, to $105, Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
