SLR International Corporation is seeking an Associate Wastewater Engineer to join our busy Cheshire, Connecticut operations.

Qualified candidates will have a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and possess 6 to 10 years of previous experience in the fields of Municipal water and wastewater infrastructure engineering, construction and permitting.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment engineering and / or soil and groundwater remediation engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies, clients and contractors
  • Effective written / verbal communication and organization / analytical skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Willing to travel within the US and Canada by airplane and car, including overnight travel

Preferred Technical Skills and Experience

  • Experience with technical writing
  • Experience and skill with AutoCAD and GIS
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification

Compensation Range :

The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $85, to $105, Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
