Your Role :
Based in the Overland Park, KS office, you will report to the Chief Operations Officer, and your role will span various areas of the organization, including general internal financial management and M&A activity.
You will also provide consulting services to the network of advisors in financial management and M&A activity. You will provide data and collaborate with Prosperity’s leadership team to guide decision-making.
To succeed, you should have :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
- 5+ years of financial management experience in a complex organizational environment
- Financial management and analytic capabilities
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge and experience in strategic planning (including profit center and cost center-specific P&L)
- Able to collaborate to get complex projects across the finish line
It would be beneficial if you have :
- MBA, CPA, or Masters of Science in accounting or business field
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Experience with GAAP Accounting
Your responsibilities as the Financial Analyst will include :
- Financial Management : Collaborate with leadership to provide financial reports, ensure GAAP compliance, and track performance metrics.
- M&A Participation : Engage in discussions, due diligence, practice valuations, and integration of proformas into budgets.
- Performance Reporting : Measure and report on post-transaction metrics and M&A activity to relevant stakeholders.
- M&A Support for Advisors : Guide buyers and sellers through valuations, financing, deal terms, and practice integration.
- Continuity Planning : Assist OSJ Advisors in developing and facilitating continuity plans, including valuations, business plans, and financial statements.
