In this position...

Lead a team of experienced Architects and Prinicpal Engineers to design Ford Credit enterprise architecture, transform Ford Credit software engineering practice, and research cutting edge technology.

What you'll do...

Define global systems and application architecture for FMCC products.

Lead the design of multi-year technology roadmap, outlining the core technology needed to execute Ford Credit’s business model.

Modernize large global Ford Credit footprint into a cloud-first model using Google Cloud Platform, effectively enabling cloud-native business solutions.

Partner and guide application, infrastructure, security, and product teams to define, design, and deliver technical roadmaps and architecture patterns that enable the business while aligning with Ford Credit strategic objectives.

Build a high functioning architecture team that provides a partnership to the Engineering Digital Product and Platform teams.

Provide strategic thought leadership to Engineering and Business teams.

Provide constructive peer review feedback for product ideas submitted from other areas of the organization.

Continue to evolve the organization in support of the Lean model.

Work with lead Product Owner matched pair to coordinate quarterly prioritization process while delivering the quarterly OKRs.

Promote technical delivery of large-scale projects on all infrastructure technologies.

Ensure that technology delivery meets policy, regulatory, architectural and security standards.

Verify that the delivered software group products meet desired encryption, security, and business outcomes.

Provide industry thought leadership for Policies, Processes, People and Tools, while driving a software development lifecycle.

You'll have...

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or similar.

5+ years of progressive Cloud Architecture and / or Cloud DevSecOps leadership experience with large scale outcomes.

Even Better you will have

Demonstrated technical vision with strong DevSecOps expertise across large-scale Agile teams.

Ability to identify key drivers, core assumptions, and significant trends across a complex, competitive landscape.

Experience across the entire spectrum of enterprise scale solutions : front-end, integration, back-end, and data / AI.

Experience in the Financial industry

Proven experience in leveraging digital, big data, cloud, and AI (Artificial Intelligence) for competitive advantage.

Experience leading matrixed teams of 50 or more

Experience with formulating vision and strategy to transform, simplify, and modernize the implementation of customer-facing capabilities.

Experience with underlying application programming (API) methods for systems integrations / data exchanges.
