Job Description

Primary Skills : Data warehousing, ETL, SSIS, Data model, MSBI

Responsibilities :

• yrs. of experience with MS BI, with strong experience on ETL looks like SSIS with SQL Development, SSRS, including Python
• Lead and guide the Rapid Deployment team and ensure team follow best practices and standards defined for Data Warehousing development (ETL, SSIS and TSQL)
• Participate and guide the team in design related discussions (data modeling using Erwin, Visio, ER Studio)
• Look for gaps and optimize existing processes
• Lead the RD team to Support / enhance / create Daily / Monthly ETL / ELT processes to ensure business continuity, ensuring all related data pipelines meets best-in-class standards offering high performance.

Support :

• Acknowledge user created tickets or Business Analysts' assigned tickets through SNOW ticketing platform, ADO or Activities or other effort / work assignments as mutually agreed upon Accept, resolve, status, coordinate with other teams to resolve identified issues with production batch work or other DWH services, perform Root Cause Analysis and status both SNOW and ADO tasks as appropriate for work performed
• Inform and follow up with change coordinator for production implementation approval and actual deployment
• Validate the deployed components in production and obtain user or business analyst sign off on the production outcome after execution
• Update the results and status of the ticket in the SNOW portal / ADO
• Perform Batch Monitoring for all Data Management supported processes, and data related stores / Workloads, from Monday through Saturday including on / off-shore Holidays.

Provide solution for issues by performing SLA adherence and relay communications to customer

• Perform / Participate in platform maintenance and upgrade activities, including Micro Segmentation, DR Testing, Unit testing of ETL, SSRS, WinApps and other DW workloads regarding Server Upgrades and patch installations.
• Support and create CICD implementation of Database and ETL workloads for all existing ETL and Database pipelines.
• Support Internal and EY Audit requests to provide evidence on Data Warehousing ETL workloads.
• Identify the long running processes and provide solutions for performance tuning by creating self-identified ticket in SNOW portal and ADO.

Provide Monthly metrics and weekly status on requests to Customer

Perform platform housekeeping activities like Lower environment data refresh, Database server Transaction log clean up, Source file Archival, Trigger file clean up

Development & Enhancement :

• Analyze the assigned work and understand the business or technical requirements. Follow up with user or BSDA for resolution of any clarifications on the requirements.
• Understand functional / technical requirements for Data Management Short-term Development or other Activities / work assignments as mutually agreed upon.
• Design technical components to achieve intended functionality.
• Build the technical components or solution in the lower environment and perform necessary QA validations on the process / report / data
• Request user or business analyst validation on the final process / report / data outcomes built for the requirement on the lower environment.
• Get sign-off from the User or BSDA on validation and obtain confirmation on the production process scheduling frequency and timing
