SUMMARY :
Under the direct supervision of the General Manager, this position is responsible for meeting established lease sales goals by maintaining the current customer base as well as continually adding to that base through various outside sales methods.
Independent judgment and time management is required to plan, prioritize, and organize this diversified workload.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.
- Must have knowledge of relationship selling at a level generally acquired through 2+ years related experience
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations; position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
- Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products required : Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Valid Driver's License required; must meet company insurability standards.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License is preferred, must meet company insurability standards

ESSENTIAL DUTIES : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Achieve lease revenue, customer retention, and other profitability objectives.
- Assist the management team in preparing an Annual Business Plan.
- Assist in developing and implementing a sales and marketing plan for PacLease lease offerings.
- Develops and uses a systematic approach to rental sales calls utilizing telemarketing, mailers, internet, out of office personal customer visits, and other company approved methods.
- Develops and maintains relationships with all new and current customers.
- Provide timely sales reports to management as required.
- Assist in establishing PacLease rates for various equipment types through market needs analysis.
- Maintain a customer / prospect sales database and adhere to contact entry standards and policies set by management.
- Maintains periodic interactions with the Service Department to ensure lease equipment is maintained according to company standards and DOT regulations.
- Follows company procedures regarding credit policies.
- Maintain a current and accurate customer turndown log.
- Utilize daily availability list to focus marketing efforts on excess and under-utilized equipment.
- Communicates and cooperates with all department managers and personnel.
- Assist in collection of past due invoices as needed.
- Understand company policies and procedures.
- Attend company meetings and training as required.
- Eagerly participates in company sponsored training events.
- Interact with customers professionally and courteously at all times.
- Promote an atmosphere of cooperation, teamwork and goodwill with fellow employees.
- Displays honesty in all company related dealings.
- Any other duties assigned by the General Manager.
- Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment
