Demonstrates SoundOff Signal’s Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers.
Works closely with Sales Leadership to develop an annual and multi-year strategic plan to meet or exceed corporate objectives (sales revenue, market growth, product profitability, competitive advantages, etc )
o Market macro and micro analysis
o Customer overviews and targets
o Competitive analysis
o Sales strategy
o Sales forecasting
o Sales profitability
o Product requirements coordinating where possible for common tooling with the Product team.
Management of sales plan within assigned territory or market.
Management of independent and distribution sales representatives working in the territory.
Manage prospecting activity within territory or market.
Provide accurate and regular reporting.
Responsible for generating market demand for SOS products within territory or market.
Support and lead tradeshow activity in conjunction with marketing.
Be a technical advisor in both product and vehicle application.
Partner with marketing on the marketing plan and campaigns.
Utilization of CRM Salesforce as per the sales team requirements.
Budget management.
Coordination of sales effort / initiatives between SBU’s.
Lead key sales initiatives such as targeting and acquisition of key new customers.
Participation in appropriate value add industry and association activities.
Provide product feedback to the innovation, product management and engineering teams.
Provide competitive intelligence in your respective market(s) as it relates to pricing, distribution, market dynamics, and competitors working with the market intelligence team.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or other relevant degrees. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of Amber or related market sales experience
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Excellent customer and inter-personal skills.
Must be able to positively handle conflict and customer issues.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work within a cross-functional complex organization.
Microsoft Office Suite Programs.
Customer Management Software Salesforce is a plus
ERP Software experience beneficial.
Travel Requirements range from approx. 30 40%.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain auto insurability status.
Able to perform job consistently without excessive absenteeism or tardiness
