About the role :

As a Senior Director, you'll be responsible for setting the strategy and driving the execution of commercialization and go-to-market (GTM) activities across all of FIS’ Owned Network business es - NYCE, CULIANCE and Jennie.

This analytical and ROI driven leader will manage a team focused on supporting the sell ing in of our Networks to debit card issu ing financial institutions , the deal models to those deals and transaction routing with merchants that accept debit payments and their acquirers.

This is a cross- discipline role that requires working with a range of client-facing executives and technical experts then directly influencing activities across a broad set of FIS functional areas .

Success will come from effective GTM planning, salesforce enablement , innovative deal structur ing and identifying emerging product trends that need to be addressed .

About the team :

FIS Payments Network growth is driven through the effort of a dedicated team of payments network professionals focused on expanding the reach of FIS Debit Network offerings - NYCE, CULIANCE and Jennie.

We’re looking for people who are passionate about payments to chart FIS Networks’ path to being the largest and most-preferred national debit network.

What you'll be doing :

  • Plans, manages and controls activities of one or more teams that evaluate, analyze and formulate strategies for business growth and / or improving productivity and profitability and provide business intelligence and strategic planning support for one or more lines of business, business segments or the enterprise.
  • Establishes priorities and sell-in strategies consistent with business goals and target economic performance .
  • Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of cross -functional efforts to identify , interpret and produce recommendations and business and / or strategic plans based on company and external data analysis.
  • Directs planning and preparation of sales proposals and provide data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities.
  • Ensures policies and procedures align with corporate vision.
  • Selects, develops and evaluates GTM and financial / deal modeling personnel ensuring efficient operation s . Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals and pay review .
  • Enables effective collaboration with Sales and Executive Leadership to protect revenue we have and meet growth goals .
  • Leads cross-functional teams comprised of direct reports, SMEs and peers .

  • Drives continuous sales pitch, deal process and financial / pricing modelling improvements
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging payment product innovati on trends and utilizes that knowledge to educate senior leaders on opportunities to build better product solutions that support and drive business growth and expansion.

What you bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, marketing or other related discipline.
  • 10-15 years of experience in financial services, and experience with payments products ( Payment Networks or other related payments solution) and / or having made buying decisions for payment N etworks at a top US financial institution
  • Experience managing a business-to-business sales pipeline and reviewing / improving pricing models and proposals
  • Working familiarity with CRM tools like Dynamics, , HubSpot or equivalent and effective MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to understand and focus on clients needs, establish credibility and build positive, professional relationships with prospects
  • General business skills, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, , executive, management, individual contributors

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $163, - $274, and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location.

Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
