Acara Solutions is seeking an Architectural Designer for a real estate development company located in Williamsville NY!Salary up to $70k / year DOE100% onsiteProduces architectural drawings and details in AutoCAD Architecture & REVITCompletes redlines and mark-up from Architectural Department's hand drawn / mark-ups or digital mark-ups in Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam-Provides preliminary and schematic floor plans and details under guidance from Architects, and Architectural Designers-Assists Architectural team with documenting existing site and building conditions.
Occasionally assists Senior Architectural team with progress construction visits and field observations-Assists Architectural team with Quality Control / Quality Assurance punch lists and project close-outsResearch productsAbility to produce color renderings and 3D models for interior and exterior Architectural presentationsUtilizes Microsoft Teams, Assists Architectural Staff in translating client design / prototype standards into unique design solutions into both new-build and renovations of existing buildingsAbility to research and apply building codes to design under the direction of a licensed ArchitectAssists Architectural Staff in producing written specifications utilizing Microsoft Word or specification software, including but not limited to SpecbuilderRequired Skills / Qualifications : -Bachelors degree, Architecture-Minimum 2 years' experience working for an Architectural or Engineering firm -Minimum 2 years' experience with programs including Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD Architecture & REVIT Preferred Skills / Qualifications : -Interior design experience preferred-Drafting experience preferred -Experience providing design support on commercial renovation and new construction projects preferred -Bluebeam experience preferred -Procore or experience working in other construction management software programs preferredAleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
