Job Description :

This job is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives and / or processes aligned to priorities within a functional area and / or business.

Key responsibilities include defining, developing, executing, monitoring, and / or refining strategic initiatives and processes in close collaboration with key stakeholders and internal partners.

The Data Strategy Manager role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the Data Strategy in line with the priorities for the Legal Department.

Key responsibilities include defining, developing, executing, monitoring, and / or refining Data related strategic initiatives and processes in close collaboration with key stakeholders and internal partners.

Initial focus areas to include buildout of Business Intelligence reporting dashboard with self-serve and data visualization capabilities, and development of data domain / Authorized Data Source(s).

In addition to having the ability to layout a strategic vision for sourcing and using the data, plan out action steps and execute initiatives to a successful conclusion, this role requires an understanding of systems, data and its lineage as well as data health and reporting.

Responsibilities :

• Builds and / or executes business initiatives and / or processes, while partnering with stakeholders and partners
• Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business
• Engages with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives
• Performs analytics, assessments, and / or interpretation of data and / or information to identify business opportunities, derive insights, and measure outcomes
• Develops strategic and tactical plans to drive progress towards business goals and objectives

Skills Required :

• 5+ years of overall experience managing and implementing new projects with proven strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Experience in one or more of the following areas : data intelligence / analytics, data management, data governance, data supply chain, data quality management, and / or data architecture
• Demonstrated understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management and data concepts
• Advanced expertise in all Microsoft Office tools
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop strategic objectives tied to business needs / goals
• Strong analytical thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong planning and prioritization skills to drive outcomes
• Innovative thinking
• Ability to articulate and present to senior leadership
• Ability to influence key stakeholders with credibility and impact
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
