Volt is immediately hiring CNC Machinist III 1st Shift for a local leading manufacturing company in Miramar .

As a CNC Machinist III 1st Shift you will :

• Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine to produce parts and tools from metal, plastic or other materials.
• Performs all machine set-ups and make minor machine / program adjustments without assistance.
• Performs operational checks to ensure departmental tools, fixtures & equipment are in good working condition.
• Utilize accurately calibrated precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gages, thread gages, pin gages, and other measuring tools.
• Communicates with Lead and Supervisor regarding any material or parts that would affect quality of products.
• Read and interpreting blueprints & drawings
• Performing quality checks / ensuring product meets drawing requirements

This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have :

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in setting up Vertical / Horizontal CNC Milling or Lathe Machines
• Must be familiar with and basic knowledge of MasterCAM / Solid works
• Solid understanding of machine controls using Haas / Fanuc CNC equipment
• Experience in precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gages, thread gages, pin gages, and other measuring tools.
• Solid knowledge in G&M CNC codes

Schedule : Monday-Friday

1st Shift 6AM to 230PM

Pay Rate : $25-28 per hour.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Experience with the following is a plus :

• CNC Programming
• CNC Mill
• CNC Lathe
• G&M codes
