Description

Position Summary : Possess a high degree of product line knowledge and technical expertise. Provide service to an assigned book of business with minimal producer or management involvement.

Prioritize effectively and respond in designated time frames while working in a fast paced environment. Able to act independently to meet service needs for large, complex accounts, Act as producer and servicer on assigned house accounts.

Assist the producer in the production of new and renewal accounts.

Major Responsibilities :

1. Maintain responsibility for self-management and development

a. Meet with supervisor to ensure alignment and gain agreement on goals and performance standards

b. Record updates on goal achievements as indicated throughout year

c. Represent Huntington Insurance as a product expert by staying current with industry changes, trends and opportunities.

d. Maintain and develop product line knowledge through participation in educational opportunities

e. Act as a resource for continuous improvement initiatives

2. Comply with Agency Procedures

a. Follow established agency policies and procedures and all subsequent updates

b. Adhere to agency service standards and timelines

c. Utilize agency technology and software applications including agency management systems, document management systems and workflows

d. Comply with procedures as outlined in the Huntington Employee Handbook

3. Provide Customer Service to Agency Clients

a. Respond to internal and external service inquiries within optimal time frames

b. Take ownership and respond to customer inquiries and problem resolution responding in an optimal time frame

c. Coordinate and communicate client service needs, directing and assisting team members as needed

d. Request policy changes as required and monitor delivery of same

e. Issue certificates of insurance, binders and other policy documents as required

f. Provide guidance to other team members as needed

4. Assist in the Delivery of Agency Products and Services

a. Coordinate, direct and oversee the marketing process in conjunction with the producer and other team members

b. Work with clients and carriers to obtain necessary data throughout the marketing process

c. Submit quote requests and monitor carrier responses

d. Negotiate coverage pricing and conditions to meet client needs

e. Review carrier quotes and conditions to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards

f. Deliver new business and renewal recommendations within the established time frame

g. Prepare client summary and proposal documents

h. Submit new business and renewal orders to carrier and monitor receipt of policy documents

i. Review proposals and policy documents for quality assurance requirements in accordance with agency procedures

j. Participate in client appointments and meetings as requested

5. Participate in Agency Growth Initiatives

a. Identify account rounding coverage opportunities

b. Obtain and present quotes for recommended coverage

c. Seek cross sell and referral opportunities across product lines

d. Assist producers with new business prospecting activities

6. Maintain Agency Data

a. Maintain and update client and policy data per agency procedures

b. Utilize agency management systems, workflow applications and diary systems to ensure timely service and follow up

c. Document correspondence, conversations and activities in agency systems following agency procedures

7. Assist in Colleague Development

a. Serve as product line resource as requested

b. Assist with colleague training as requested

8. Corporate Initiative

a. Participate in corporate projects and initiatives

b. Assist with workflow development and implementation to support corporate initiatives

c. Perform other duties as assigned by management

Basic Qualifications :

At least three years' of personal insurance experience

Active P&C Insurance License

LI-Remote

Exempt Status : (Yes not eligible for overtime pay) ( No eligible for overtime pay)
