We are looking for someone who can :
- Review submissions for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility to determine the appropriate writing company for risk placement.
- Evaluate risk according to underwriting guidelines and experience to recommend risk improvement and / or loss control measures to achieve the appropriate rate for the risk.
- Provide ongoing customer service directly to agents and clients.
- Bind and process new and renewal business with Rural-approved writing companies.
- Complete transactions and financial data requirements in the system.
- Perform data analysis to properly determine coverage requirements and place risk with writing companies.
- Actively monitor and track quoting and binding activity through completion.
- Collaborate with the team, department, and agency.
- Assist agents with direct access to carrier and broker sites / systems.
- Clean up and enter transactional data.
Requirements for success :
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and / or relevant work experience.
- years of insurance experience. Property & Casualty Insurance license required.
- Ability to learn Company product portfolio.
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to develop familiarity with IFBI processing systems as assigned.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in both written correspondence and verbal communication.
- Willingness and demonstrated ability to collaborate with underwriting team members and agents.
