About the role
The Product Manager II will own one or more Law Enforcement product feature(s) and lead project execution. Individuals in this role will immediately become part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment that supports the development of innovative and creative product solutions.
They will own product development plans and represent their feature(s) within the cross-functional team proposing new feature ideas that address a customer pain point or need based on their deep and firsthand understanding of the customer.
They will prioritize and communicate production customer issues and defects based on relevant data for timely resolution and also lead demonstrations to key stakeholders at program milestones.
The ideal candidate will be able to execute on the product vision, develop clear go-to-market launch plans through coordinated development with customer-facing teams, and have a solid understanding of the customer and target market.
This position can be home based but must be able to work East coast hours.
You will be responsible for :
Supporting GTM strategy by communicating customer value propositions, requirements, and timelines to stakeholders.
Answering questions from sales and customers regarding feature function, pricing, packaging, value proposition, and competitive position.
Participating in market and product messaging of desired outcomes.
Advancing prototypes or MVPs based on a deep understanding of their feature area
Capturing customer goals and needs using different frameworks and techniques and prioritizing those needs for the organization.
Using or extending the company's platforms and underlying technologies to create new product features.
Speaking knowledgeably with tech and data counterparts about development approaches.
Learning about new technologies to support development efforts.
Interpreting market events to actionable intelligence for features and enhancements
Understanding the role's impact on customer satisfaction
Solving problems and analyzing issues by asking effective questions and collecting facts from multiple sources.
Demonstrating effective conversational skills, including active listening and questioning.

Qualifications :
Have 4-6 years of product management experience.
Have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical subject (Computer Science or Engineering discipline) is preferred.
Have ability to solve hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks.
Engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship32.
Have understanding of software development methodologies like Agile Scrum, Kanban, and writing user stories.
Have experience in Government or Law Enforcement industries and / or public records is a plus34.
Have familiarity with Law Enforcement products (Accurint and Accurint TraX) is a plus.
Have ability to grasp data and technical architecture principles and best practices.
