As a Enterprise Accessibility Manager Sr within PNCs Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH or Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL.
The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.
Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the managers discretion.
PNC is looking for an experienced, senior accessibility leader to provide strategic direction and leadership related to the selection, implementation, and administration of accessibility and accommodations technology services across PNCs workforce.
You will be a trusted, respected, partner that works closely with either UX Design Professionals, Product Managers, and Engineering supporting our products, or in collaboration with internal teams including but not limited to Marketing, HR, Diversity & Inclusion and General Counsel supporting business readiness and employee experience initiatives.
You will leverage your hands on expertise and thought leadership in accessibility technologies to ensure a seamless adoption and maturation of PNCs enterprise accessibility program.
Responsibilities :
Collaboration with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive workforce accessibility strategy aligned with PNCs business goals and industry best practices.
Provide a clear vision and roadmap for PNCs accessibility offerings that not only enables, meets the demands of our customers, but also enables the development of products that are flexible, scalable, and maintainable.
Assess accessibility work efforts, establish timelines to complete those work efforts, and direct the accessibility team to meet those committed timelines.
Lead in architectural decisions and strategies for PNCs accessibility technology and services.
Establish and enforce governance policies, ensuring compliance with security, risk and regulatory standards.
Lead a high-performing accessibility engineering and operations team, provide mentorship, and foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Proactively develop systems and services to determine and incorporate best practices; partners with senior management team, colleagues, and stakeholders to identify and eliminate barriers to continually innovate and deliver accessible services in the most inclusive manner.
Provide the day-to-day support of PNCs accessibility platforms and technology.
Engagement, empathy, and etiquette skills, with experience of working with sensitive subject matter and / or employees and partners.
Taking an informed approach while working with emotive or highly sensitive topics.
Required :
At least 7 years of experience in accessibility technology supporting deaf / hard of hearing, blind / low vision, physical disabilities, and non-apparent disabilities.
At least 5 years of experience in accessibility technology, including extensive experience with digital assistive technology (ex : JAWs, Axe DevTools, NVDA, SonicCloud, Dragon Naturally Speaking, Braille terminals, closed caption services, headsets, screen magnification hardware) required.
Knowledge of document accessibility and remediation, including Portable Document Files (PDF).
Knowledge of U.S. and international accessibility standards required.
A proven track record of successfully leading and delivering accessibility adoption projects in a senior leadership capacity within a regulated industry.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

- Leads infrastructure planning, development strategies / initiatives and product lifecycle / service orientation; determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs.
Oversees portfolio / program / project management responsibilities. Directs financial management and risk management capabilities.
Leads stable and secure environment, incident management, product health / patching, and the asset management lifecycle.
Communicates with vendors, suppliers and executive management to ensure availability of infrastructure technologies and support.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
