Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Lead to oversee the research and development of a comprehensive knowledge base for psychiatric and psychological professionals.
The Project Lead will be responsible for conducting research, interviewing internal stakeholders, and providing clarity on the scope, structure, and content requirements for a knowledge base that will serve as a key value-add to our Client’s subscribers.
This role requires a strong understanding of psychiatric and psychological medical coding, previous experience leading projects or programs, and the ability to work in ambiguous situations while gathering essential information to guide the project.
The ideal candidate will also have a background in building or managing information databases or knowledge management systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Stakeholder Engagement : Lead interviews and discussions with internal stakeholders to gather insights on common topics, challenges, and knowledge gaps that the knowledge base should address.
Research and Analysis : Conduct thorough research on the needs of psychiatric and psychological professionals, identifying the most relevant and frequently sought-after topics.
Knowledge Base Strategy Development : Collaborate with program leaders to return required information according to the scope, structure, and content strategy of the knowledge base, ensuring it aligns with member needs and industry best practices.
Medical Coding Integration : Utilize your experience with psychiatric and psychological medical coding to inform content curation and ensure that information is aligned with professional standards and coding requirements.
Project Lead Experience : Plan, coordinate, and manage the project resources and tasks to fit the target timeline
Fact-Finding in Ambiguity : Navigate ambiguous or unclear information to identify key project parameters
Content Curation : Work with subject matter experts to ensure the knowledge base is populated with accurate, up-to-date, and relevant information, including clinical guidelines, case studies, and research articles.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a program or project lead, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from concept to completion.
Experience in psychiatric / psychological medical coding is essential, including familiarity with diagnostic coding systems such as ICD-10, DSM-5, or CPT.
Prior experience building or managing information databases or knowledge management systems is required.
Strong interviewing and fact-finding skills, with the ability to gather essential information in ambiguous or evolving situations.
Skills :

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead discussions, facilitate interviews, and synthesize complex information.

Familiarity with content management systems, database platforms, or knowledge base software.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working in a mental health or healthcare setting, with a deep understanding of the clinical and operational aspects of psychiatric or psychological care.
Knowledge of industry best practices related to knowledge management and information sharing within healthcare or professional service environments.
