Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Director Maintenance Operations, the Regional Maintenance Manager, (RMM) is responsible for maintenance to all equipment types located at multiple facilities within a region.
The RMM will have overnight travel to facilities within their respective region to perform training and compliance audits.
Responsibilities
- Reviews operations processes and procedures and creates opportunities for improvement in areas of productivity, cost reduction, process improvements, etc.
- Maintains shop facilities and equipment within company / departmental goals in accordance with state and federal requirements
- Involved in organizing, planning, and goal setting for preventative maintenance programs.
- Motivates, organizes, and maintains multiple shop staff's productivity.
- Interviews new hires.
- Coaches, counsels and administers discipline.
- Oversees compliance in maintaining region's maintenance parts, supplies, and tire inventories.
- Instructs supervisors and lead personnel in goal achievement and staff productivity.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word programs to prepare reports and analyze data.
- Uses in house computer programs to generate equipment service and inspection due lists
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years Maintenance experience
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, TMW Maintenance software and the AS400 operating system
