Job Title : Data Analyst - Fintech

Job Duties :
- Utilise data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques to extract and analyse financial data
- Experience with reporting packages such as Business Objects and databases like SQL and Postgres SQL
- Familiarity with financial or investment systems and regulations including NCA Act, POPIA, NCR, PASA, and bank regulations
- Advanced analytical reporting and data visualisation skills
- Collaborate with internal clients to ensure processes and products align with business objectives
- Generate insights and analytics to support decision-making processes
Required Qualifications :
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or Statistics
- 2 - 5 years experience in data analytics.
Knowledge and Skills :
- Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and methodologies
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data querying and manipulation
- Quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Programming skills for data analysis and reporting
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous experience in the banking or finance industry
- Knowledge of data protection and financial regulations
