Quality, On-time Delivery & Customer Satisfaction are of the upmost importance to MBK Machine. The duties of this job are to maintain & continuously improve these metrics where possible.
The duties of the quality control inspector are to help oversee quality operations, ensure excellent quality control of product, and maintain and uphold the quality management system.
Responsibilities of the position :
1. Measure parts using most applicable method (CMM, micrometers, deltronic pins, optical comparator, etc.)
2. Program and run CMM.
3. Record and log measurements for parts on applicable form (typically AS9102 form).
4. Prepare required documents to customer specifications.
5. Oversee and coordinate quality operations and activities pertaining to our QMS system (Nonconformance logging, corrective actions, etc.)
6. Communicate & collaborate in the quality lab with other inspectors as well as with shop operations.
7. Help implement and develop quality planning & in-process inspections in ProShop (ERP).
8. Offer solutions to advance the progress and modernization of the quality department.
The candidate for this position will train with our other inspectors during the first shift during the week but ultimately once trained the shift will be the evening shift Monday through Friday 2pm-10 : 30pm.
Previous quality control or machining experience is a bonus but not a requirement for this position. We are looking for a candidate that is detail oriented, organized and eager to learn.
