A day in the life.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Insights Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation, training materials, and change management resources for a series of tools and reports designed to provide data and analytics capabilities to all colleagues of Marsh McLennan Agency.

Additionally, you will serve as a backup for the Metric Insights report surfacing tool, reports developed in PowerBI, and Access Management at MMA.

You will collaborate closely with the Data Strategy Manager, product managers, IT, and regional colleagues to ensure that all analytics tools and reports are clearly defined, accompanied by instructional guides, supported by a robust training platform, and have a solid stakeholder engagement communication strategy in place.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data and analytics tools and reports, including user guides, process flows, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Create instructional materials and training resources to support the effective use of analytics tools and reports by colleagues across the organization.
  • Serve as a backup for the Metric Insights report surfacing tool, reports developed in PowerBI, and Access Management at MMA.
  • Collaborate with the Data Strategy Manager, product managers, IT, and regional colleagues to define the scope and requirements of analytics tools and reports.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure that all necessary instructional guides are in place and accessible to colleagues.
  • Establish and maintain a robust training platform to facilitate the onboarding and ongoing training of colleagues on analytics tools and reports.
  • Develop and execute a stakeholder engagement communication strategy to ensure effective communication and adoption of analytics tools and reports.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate colleagues on the use of analytics tools and reports.
  • Gather feedback from colleagues and stakeholders to continuously improve the usability and effectiveness of analytics tools and reports.
  • Serve as a backup for the Metric Insights report surfacing tool, reports developed in PowerBI, and Access Management at MMA.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data and analytics documentation, training, and change management.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Science, Technical Writing, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in creating documentation, training materials, and change management resources for data and analytics tools and reports.
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics concepts, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and content management systems.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Metric Insights report surfacing tool, PowerBI, and Access Management is preferred.
