Together these facilities offerpatients the best rehab and nursing care they can obtain aftertheir hospital discharge.
- RN Supervisororganizes oversees & supervises assigned unit activities &staff assignments & demonstrates clinical expertise which isconsistent with the established standards of NursingPractice
- RN Supervisor will identify &respond appropriately & timely to patientneeds
- Monitor observe & document vitalsigns treatments administered & patientresponses.
- RN Supervisor will administermedications & treatments asneeded
- Communicate and direct services ongoingor any plan / concerns / information to appropriate team membersresident family or medical staff asneeded
- Identify & follow disciplinaryaction as stated in policy
- Collaborate withinterdisciplinary team physicians & othervendors / services
- Perform RN assessment toresidents post incidents or change incondition.
- Lead & direct emergencysituations (Fire alarm Elopement etc.)
- Maintainaccurate nursing report staffing sheets & censusroster
Requirements :
- Current & good standing RN License in Stateof New York
- Previous experience withgeriatric / short term rehabilitation / Alzheimers patients isdesirable
- Progressive Nursing experience in ageriatric setting. Supervisory experiencepreferred.
- Dedicated to providing extraordinaryquality compassionate care to eachresident
- Genuinely interested in helping illinjured disabled elderly emotionally upset & sometimeschallenging residents
- Have patience &willingness to assist any residents &coworkers
- Have excellent communicationinterpersonal customer service & organizationskills
- Able to work well under pressureflexible & will work harmoniously with allstaff
