Wire EDM Machine Operators for medical device manufacturer located in the Lake Forest CA area. Great opportunity with a stable company.
This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity. Hours are 1st Shift 7am-3 : 30pm; and 2nd Shift, 3 : 15 pm - 11 : 45 pm, Monday - Friday plus 2 Saturdays a month.
Saturday hours are 12 : 30 PM - 8 : 30 PM
Overtime is mandatory. Company will complete Drug Screen and Background Check prior to start. P ay is $18-21 / hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities :
- Operate Wire EDM Machine and any new equipment thereafter.
- Loading and unloading parts.
- Follow Machine Procedures.
- Read prints.
- Learn set-up, power setting, and off-sets.
- Measure parts to be machined.
- Use micrometers, calipers and comparators to check parts.
Requirements :
- Min 1 year CNC Machine experience.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must be very detail oriented.
- Must have basic mathematics ability for adding / subtracting decimals and fractions; must be able to read prints and understand dimensional tolerances.
- Desire to learn new trade - company will provide training and guidance.
- Knowledge of computers is desired.
- Creativity, Initiative and the ability to work independently is a MUST
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Essential duties require frequent reaching above shoulder level and manual dexterity for handling small / large objects.
- Routinely moves parts / product weighing up to 25 lbs.
- In this position, employees are exposed to noise, dust and fumes, and working around moving machinery.
- Good attendance and a low scrap rate are very important to this company.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $18.00 - $21.00 Per Hour
