Basic Job Duties
- Train and oversee implementation of curriculum
- Train, observe, and provide feedback to teachers
- Monitor materials and supplies
- Inventory materials and supplies on campus
- Plan, organize, and execute special events such as holidays, performances, camp, and other fun activities
- Manage the afterschool program
- Manage the VPK program
- Complete specific classroom logs
- Cover classrooms when needed
- Drive van (no CDL required) when needed
- A full job description will be given upon hire
Educational / License Requirements
- DCF 45 Hours
- Florida Staff Credential
- Florida Director's Credential
- Knowledge / Training in Conscious Discipline, CLASS, APPLE, ITERS / ECRS, Frog Street is desired but not necessary
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
- Florida Driver's License
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in preschool classroom required
- Minimum of 1 year administrative experience at a childcare center
