Summary
Zurn Elkay is looking for a Director of Plumbing & Mechanical Sales leading the growth strategy, results and team within the Eastern territory of the US.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales, this individual is responsible for providing leadership & direction to Zurn Elkay’s US-based sales organization located in the Eastern territory of the US.
This established leader is accountable to meet and exceed overall sales performance, market growth, and profitable achievement of the specific regional sales team's targets and goals.
The Director of Sales shall participate in major selling situations and monitor on a weekly basis all sales activity across the business, ensuring targets are met.
This sales leader ideally resides within the Eastern territory of the US with travel up to 50%.
Key Accountabilities
- Meets and exceeds overall sales performance, market growth, and profitable achievement of the Eastern territory's targets and goals.
- Builds and delivers accurate forecasts for Eastern territory and Northeast, Southeast and Midatlantic regions.
- Establishes and deploys Zurn Elkay strategic priorities with the Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and sales reps to achieve successful conversion strategies for owners, specifiers, contractors and wholesalers.
- Holds RSMs and rep network accountable on execution of regional and account strategy and on track for growth goals within all P&M channels.
- Leverages the Commercial Operations team to implement robust CRM adoption for the region to manage sales pipeline, account management, and opportunity management.
- Establishes a cadence with team to review sales performance, pipeline, leading / trailing performance indicators & countermeasures to support delivery of strategic priorities & forecast.
- Partner with cross-functional business partners in Sales Operations, Marketing, and BU leadership.
Qualifications
Experience :
- 10 years of regional, national or territory sales experience with at least 7+ years sales leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA is a plus, preferably in Marketing, Business Management, or Engineering
- Experience managing and driving growth through Independent Representatives in commercial and industrial plumbing & mechanical channel

Knowledge & Skills Needed
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Technical acumen, with ability to understand technical drawings
- Proficient in developing and delivering presentations to Engineers, Owners, Regulators, Architects, Contractors, Wholesalers, Distributors
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Familiarity with DCRM, or Sales Force, or similar sales CRM tools
