PROFESSIONAL STAFF OPPORTUNITY
DIRECTOR, PROGRAMS & SERVICES
Alzheimer’s New Jersey, founded in 1985, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services and support for New Jersey individuals and their families who are coping with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia disorder.
We are pleased to be expanding our professional team and are now accepting applications for a full-time Director, Programs & Services.
This position provides both leadership and hands-on daily management and oversight for the programs and services division.
Responsibilities :
- Overseeing the operations for all the current programs and services.
- Leading and guiding future programmatic development.
- Participating in community needs assessment, strategic planning, and ongoing evaluation and staff development.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate should have :
- Managerial and leadership experience working as a program director or in a similar focused position, preferably with a non-profit or voluntary health charity.
- Proven knowledge in the fields of community health and outreach, aging, dementia, and / or neuro-degenerative chronic diseases.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- MS / MA degree in a clinical or health-related field such as nursing, social work, or another clinical specialty area is required (a BA / BS degree with 10+ years of proven success in a similar position may be considered).
- Additional licensure and / or certification in a relevant area of practice is desirable.
This is a full-time salary / exempt position based in our Roseland office. Candidates must have the ability to support some flexible evening and weekend work when needed and also have reliable personal transportation to support community outreach activities.
