Forklift / Warehouse Associate

Volt is immediately hiring for experienced Warehouse Associates in DeSoto, Texas.

As a Warehouse Associate you will :

• Operate cherry picker, stand up reach and sit down forklifts
• Provide parts support to the overhaul of turbine engines and related equipment.
• Ensure material is properly stored and pulled from correct inventory location with special attention to overall inventory accuracy.
• Move and package parts necessary to support overhaul production.

This is a full time opportunity. We are hiring for the following shifts : Monday Friday (1st shift) : 5am 1 : 30 pm; (2nd shift) : 1 pm-9 : 30 pm and 3rd shift Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 5 : 30am.

2nd / 3rd shift must train on 1st shift for 1 week. Lots of overtime available. Must be able to work some weekends if needed for overtime.

Positions are long term temp to hire.

The ideal candidate will have :

• Hands on forklift operating and warehouse experience
• Proven job stability
• Basic computer skills familiarization.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Can-do attitude.
• Ability to pass criminal background and drug screen

Pay Rate : $16-20 / hr

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
