Vice President of People (Remote)

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Vice President of People will drive company success by building a motivated and high-performing team. This leader will improve results in three key areas : attracting and developing top talent, nurturing a strong values-based culture, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
In this role, you will build a people-focused organization where employees are empowered to grow both personally and professionally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Improve a talent acquisition system that predictably hires A Players as the company grows from 400 team members to 1,500 over the next 3 years.
- Implement an onboarding program that will instill the rhythms of working at Evernest into new hires and clearly communicate how the organization functions at a high level.
This will include relaunching the program formerly known as The Lifecycle of a Property .
- Develop the 250k Leadership Program to be high impact and highly attended.
- Improve compliance training, accountability, and reporting to improve outcomes and keep Evernest protected from employer liability claims.
- Instill a culture of education, managerial growth, and prevention around compliance that fits with the company’s core focus, to develop people personally and professionally .
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree (Preferred).
- SHRM or HRCI certification (Preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive experience in human resources management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Required).
