Introduction
Advise and partner with Research and Development ( R&D ) and Product leadership to create and implement data-driven product development strategy, metrics, and key performance indicators.
Lead technical design across the data analysis team to define common methodologies, set standards, and build frameworks for evaluating business and product success.
Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate with other analysts and stakeholders to define data products used across Product and R&D organizations to evaluate product performance and engagement.
Build complex data products to monitor metrics and report on key findings using advanced proficiency in data visualization and SQL, R, or Python.
Analyze data from multiple business, product, and design sources to inform product and feature roadmaps and to evaluate product launches and feature releases.
Develop deep knowledge of products, mapping features and spatial data to investigate issues or surface insights using exploratory data analysis.
Communicate findings and make recommendations in support of strategic initiatives. Identify opportunities with Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams to improve data collection and analysis.
Train and support R&D team members on understanding and analyzing data in their roles. Collaborate in team to solve problems related to company’s data sources and bring data-driven intelligence to our customers.
Mentor interns, Data Analysts, and Senior Data Analysts on the team in order to evaluate their progress and performance.
Position allows telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. Salary : $144,040 - $149,040 per year.
Minimum Requirements : Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of professional experience performing data analytics including using data collection methods, summarizing and presenting analytical findings, applying probability and statistical methods to real data, and working with BI / Data Visualization tools.
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience performing data analytics including using data collection methods, summarizing and presenting analytical findings, applying probability and statistical methods to real data, and working with BI / Data Visualization tools.
Must also have experience in the following : 3 years of professional experience working with SQL; 3 years of professional experience working with R, Python, or MATLAB;
2 years of professional experience performing exploratory data analysis or predictive model development; and 2 years of professional experience leading data-driven solutions.
