Job Summary :
The trailer sales representative will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with core customers, while consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit objectives.
This role requires a dynamic individual with a growth mindset and a commitment to delivering the Ultimate Customer Experience (UCE) through teamwork and personal development.
Primary Area of Responsibility :
- Territory : Western Pennsylvania
- Travel : 50%-75% local travel within the territory, with 25-50% of the time spent working at the dealership.

Essential Duties :
- Become an expert in the trailer industry by training with experienced associates, studying industry materials, visiting factories, and mastering the Dealer quote system
- Research, prospect and visit all potential trailer customers in our territory
- Communicate any problems or customer complaints to the Sales Manager immediately
- Establish sales goals on a yearly basis and review with the Sales Manager on a quarterly basis on how to best achieve these goals
- Track Deals Pending and Sold Sales Reports monthly for all deals during the prior month
- Be thoroughly familiar with our main competitors and where they are located and how they compare with the Utility product
- Uphold gross profit standards for both new and used trailer sales
Skills & Qualifications :
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with employees across the organization
- Proficient with Customer Relations Management Software (Salesforce) or similar software
- Always maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Display a professional and friendly attitude toward Company, Customers and Co-workers
- Be trustworthy, confidential, and self-motivated

Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant industry training and experience
- 5 + years of sales experience in a related industry, with a proven track record of success in customer prospecting and sales growth
Physical Environments :
- Noise levels are quiet to moderate at times
- Must be professional and work in a calm manner
- Mostly office work but may occasionally require traveling and being outside
