Maximus is seeking an Enterprise Architect to support a government client based out of Arlington, VA.

What you will do :
- Assist in aligning departmental objectives and requirements for investment decisions across the compartmented IT ecosystem, while providing guidance and recommendations for the development and use of Enterprise Architecture.
- Work collaboratively with the Cyber Team to assist with the development of cyber security architecture and designs of enterprise IT Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) security solutions into geographically discrete data centers.
- Compile and provide the necessary level of technical standards / rules to direct the development of repeatable standardized, interoperable, and consistent solutions / implementations across compartmented.
- Conduct design and discovery workshops with multiple stakeholders.
- Produce solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements.
- Identify design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and endorse changes or enhancements.
- Confirm the mapping of data elements provided by COTS products to the Logical Data Model.
- Lead and / or support the development of solution product costs for procurement.
- Partner internally to develop strategic architecture, engineering, and systems integration plans.
- Deliver reporting, feedback, and project risk / opportunity management to senior leadership as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop, monitor, and manage multiple independent project schedules and Agency-wide Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for IT projects throughout the system / software development lifecycle (SDLC) on-site at a major government agency.
- Perform schedule analysis to include metrics, critical path, float, and variance. - Utilize Gantt, milestone charts, and critical path analysis techniques to gauge and track progress and identify performance variances.
- Act as scheduling Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentors program staff with regards to work breakdown structures and IMS.
- Perform as a key member of the senior management team responsible for meeting cost, schedule, and quality requirements of the project.
- Participate with executive management to establish strategic plans, objectives, initiatives, and work plans.
- Identify risks and issues and develop mitigation plans and execution oversight.
- Track program performance goals and objectives and monitor achievement of such goals
Required Skills :
- Candidates must possess an active TS clearance with SCI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of professional experience and minimum 7 or more years of project scheduling experience building, maintaining, and managing IT project schedules throughout SDLC using Atlassian tools, MS Project, or similar software tools.
- 7+ years of experience developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs).
Desired Skills :
- Experience managing IT schedules with both waterfall and Agile methodologies encouraged.
- Achieved relevant project / schedule management certifications such as PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), AACE Earned Value Professional (EVP) or EVMI Earned Value Management Professional (EVMP)
- Strong communications with all team members and customers
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with varying audiences
