Compensation :

$40,000 - $55,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

Client Communication :

• Make telephone calls to clients to obtain treatment updates and other necessary information
• Maintain regular and professional communication with clients to update them on case progress and assist in answering any questions

Insurance Correspondence :

• Communication with insurance adjusters regarding claims and policy information
• Ensure timely and accurate information exchange with insurance companies

Medical Coordination :

• Assist clients in coordinating their medical care, including scheduling appointments and following up on treatments
• Request medical records and bills, and confirm medical balances to ensure all information is up-to-date and treatment is on track

Documentation and Record Keeping :

• Compile medical records and bills for inclusion in the settlement demand package
• Maintain and organize client files, including scanning medical records, bills, and other pertinent documents

Settlement Demand Preparation :

• Draft various legal documents and settlement demand letters, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Assist handling attorney with the preparation of comprehensive settlement demand packages to insurance companies

Case Management System :

• Update the case management system regularly to ensure each client’s case is on track and progressing efficiently
• Work closely with attorneys and legal assistants to address any issues and ensure cases move forward without delays

Team Collaboration :

• Collaborate with attorneys and legal assistants to ensure all aspects of the case are managed efficiently
• Address any issues that arise and work together to keep the case on track

Qualifications :

• 3+ years of experience in personal injury pre-litigation case management.
• Personal injury experience.
• A minimum of a 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are preferred.
• Experience drafting legal documents.
• Proficient in legal processes and documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable with computer programs, such as spreadsheet presentation, word processing, and case management software.
• Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated.
• Technology savvy.
