Position Type : Full-Time - Contingent
Work Location : Hybrid remote / in-office. (see onsite requirements below)
On-Site Requirements : On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training / tasking may require occasional on-site work at Patuxent River, MD.
Future on-site / telework requirements / schedules may change as additional client direction is received.
Essential Functions :
- Designs and implements computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
- Performs network modeling, analysis, and planning.
- Designs network and computer security measures.
- Researches and recommends network and data communications hardware and software.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications and Experience :
Required :
- Experience providing computer network architecture required.
- At least three (3) years of experience performing work related to the essential functions.
Security Clearance :
Interim or Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
Education :
BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, OR has one of the identified Cybersecurity Workforce (CWF) certifications of : Cloud TIA Security+;
CompTIA Cloud+; GICSP; SSCP; CCSP; CSSLP; CASP+; FITSP-D-NG; or GDSA required.
