Job Description : The RPA Solution Architect (SA) for the Digital Operations team has the responsibility to define the solution design for intelligent automation processes, create and maintain development frameworks, and assure quality, stability, and maintainability of automation solutions.

The SA works closely with other members of the team. During analysis and design phases, the SA will help define solution design to meet the stakeholders' needs using approved frameworks and development best practices.

To the development team, the SA provides guidance and mentorship, assuring the consistency and quality of each process automation solution.

Creativity, communication, innovation, and a team-first attitude are characteristics of a successful RPA Solution Architect in the Digital Operation team at Associa.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Design Create solution designs for process automations that meet the stakeholder requirements using select framework tools and development best practices.
• Innovate Create solutions that not only meet the needs of the current project but provide a foundation that future projects can use.
• Documentation Creating a Solution Design Document (SDD) to provide guidance to the development team is the responsibility of the SA.
• Frameworks and Best Practices The SA creates and maintains the frameworks and templates used by the development team. As new technologies emerge, the SA implements these tools and provides guidance to the development team on their use.
• Mentoring and Leadership The SA guides the development team and is available to assist when needed to solve complex problems or to understand how best to implement framework components.
• Governance The SA reviews and signs off on all projects before they can be considered development complete. This is to ensure that all best practices have been adhered to and the process will perform according to standards in the production environment.
• Continuous Improvement The SA must stay current with emerging tools and technologies and evaluate the value these technologies might bring to our organization.

The SA implements selected technologies and then assures that the development has a good understanding of these tools and how to utilize them in their projects.

Weekends and nights are sometimes required to perform the duties of the Solution Architect and to support production systems and the development team.

RequirementsKnowledge and Skills

• Expert RPA development skills. Demonstrated knowledge and skill at bot development using current UiPath platform tools.
• Solution development experience beyond UiPath / RPA. It is important to understand other software development tools and concepts as these skills will frequently be required to create the best possible solution or to understand existing solutions.
• Leadership The ability to communicate development concepts and usage of frameworks and technologies to other team members.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with development team members as well as stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.

Education and Experience

College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, finance, or management information systems.

Certifications or Licenses

UiPath Certified Professional Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD).
