Manage and administer all aspects of the Women’s Soccer Program within University, ACC and NCAA rules and regulations. Head Coaching responsibilities to include but not limited to practice / competition activities, player / skill development, recruiting, directing and implementing plans for daily practices and competitions, organizing and administering clinics, etc.
mentoring student-athletes, fund-raising efforts and overall administrative tasks within the operation of the program. Must demonstrate integrity, leadership, a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit academically qualified students.
Promote academic progress of student-athletes on and the off-field. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire through athletics.
- Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required (or foreign degree equivalent) with at least 1 year of experience in relevant independent instructional or educational activities;
- specific minimum experience is at the discretion of the Director of Athletics. Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Strong interpersonal communications skills;
computer skills; demonstrated integrity, leadership, and a thorough knowledge of the sport are required. Knowledge of and familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations essential.
Must possess a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit academically qualified student-athletes who are focused on both academics and athletics.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Successful intercollegiate coaching experience, preferably at the Division I level, and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations preferred.
Ability to become CPR and first aid certified. Special Physical / Mental Requirements Campus Security Authority Responsibilities
This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
