About our Production Assistant
Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated worker with a strong desire to learn about our products. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
- Assemble parts into finished products by reading drawings and following specifications
- Test products as needed utilizing voltmeters and current sources
- Acquire an understanding of our product line and develop technical expertise
These are some of the more frequent tasks you could expect to perform during your workday, but you may be called upon to fulfill other duties as needed.

Qualifications
- Experience using a variety of hand tools and ability to read drawings and schematics
- Experience assembling small electronic components and subassemblies
- Must have basic electronic knowledge; experience with AC / DC wiring is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications and Adobe
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

GDS Corp is a subsidiary of Welker, Inc. This role will work out of the GDS office in League City, TX. This is a full-time position working Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm and Friday 7am-12pm.
There may be an occasional need to travel to the Welker office located in Sugar Land, TX.
