Job Summary

As Team Lead, IT and Enterprise Identity Management, you will help build and evolve our IT engineering practice by developing and simplifying processes, tooling, and automation.

You will lead a team of engineers responsible for internal IT systems, networking, and identity, as well as aiding and providing expertise to our product teams with SSO initiatives.

You will help drive the strategy of our internal IT service teams, focusing on removing friction and complexity from internal IT while maintaining and enforcing business and security policies.

The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise in enterprise identity management, Active Directory, O365, Azure, AWS cloud, core computing services, networking, and desktop support.

This role requires a driven individual with project leadership experience and an aspiration to develop people management skills.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Identity Management & SSO :

  • Enhance and manage the organization's identity management framework to ensure security and efficiency.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for SSO across the company’s products and services.
  • Develop repeatable processes and assist with identity federation and SSO implementation within client-facing products.

IT Systems Engineering :

  • Oversee and lead various IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and alignment with business goals.
  • Active Directory and O365 Administration : Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory, Office 365 environments to provide seamless support and services.
  • Cloud Management : Utilize and manage cloud services on Azure and AWS platforms to enhance our internal and client-facing infrastructure.
  • Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity.
  • Partner with the IT Helpdesk team to provide solutions and guidance to better support end users.

Team Leadership and Collaboration :

  • Lead a dynamic team of IT and EIM engineers across multiple locations, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Partner with other leaders in Cloud Engineering and beyond to execute on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide team members, set goals and drive personnel development.
  • Liaise with product management to improve our product offerings related to SSO and plan implementation efforts.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the IT & EIM team.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in enterprise identity management and SSO.
  • Proficiency and expertise with Microsoft-based infrastructure and core computing services (Active Directory, DNS, IIS).
  • Strong experience with a commercial SSO offering like Okta, Ping Identity, etc.
  • Experience with public clouds, including AWS and Azure.
  • Experience in scripting or software development - PowerShell, CLI, other languages.
  • Background in networking and network hardware and services.
  • Proficient in performing in-depth analysis, complex technical troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing IT projects.
  • Professional written and interpersonal skills.

Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems / technology, Computer Science, a related field in technical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, cloud, or related roles.
